What happens as the workspace uses its monthly and daily minutes.
  • At 80% of the monthly minutes, the owners get an email (once a month) and the Usage tab shows "You've used 80% of this month's minutes".
  • At 100% of the monthly or daily minutes, new calls can't start. People trying to start one see "This workspace has used all of its minutes for this month (or today). New calls can start again when the quota resets." Owners and admins also get an Upgrade plan button; members are asked to tell the owner.
  • Calls already running end 5 minutes after the minutes run out. Hosts see "This call ends at … unless the plan is upgraded". Adding seats or moving to a bigger plan in that time keeps the call going.

Monthly minutes reset on the first of the month and daily minutes at midnight, both in UTC. To get more minutes now, add seats or move to a bigger plan in Billing.

How minutes are counted

#

One minute is one person in a call for one minute; see What a minute is. Guests' minutes count toward your workspace. Each person's time is rounded up to a whole minute.
