Workspace administration
Roles and permissions
What owners, admins, members and guests can do, and the rules for changing roles.
The four roles
#- Owner: manages the workspace, its plan and billing, and everything an admin can do. A workspace always has at least one owner.
- Admin: invites and removes people, sets roles, changes workspace settings, decides moderation reports and sees usage.
- Member: joins, starts and schedules meetings, makes calls, chats and adds contacts.
- Guest: joins the meetings and chats they are invited to.

- Role changes apply at once, including host rights in a call that is in progress.
Hosts in meetings
#In a meeting, the organizer and the workspace's owners and admins are hosts. See Host controls.
