Use the pricing calculator to estimate what these products would cost your team. Prices are USD and exclude taxes and applicable regulatory charges. Prices, destination rates and refund rules may change before the products go on sale.

In Estimate your cost, choose By role to say who's on your team (or Start from a business like yours to fill in a typical team), or Detailed minutes to enter the minutes yourself. The estimate shows your platform plan and the phone products together. The calculator, this page and workspace Billing all read the same versioned price list.

Two optional business products

#

CheapMeet Business Phone: $5.00/enabled employee/month, or $54.00/employee/year paid upfront. It provides one US/Canadian employee business number; each number needs an emergency address. Usage is extra. Choose only the employees who need numbers.

CheapMeet Meeting Phone Access: $5.00/workspace/month, or $54.00/workspace/year paid upfront. It provides shared meeting dial-in, Call me and Invite by phone. It does not require employee phone numbers. Usage is extra.

Starter and Business workspaces can have either product or both, and each turns on only its own features: Business Phone alone does not include meeting dial-in, Call me or Invite by phone. Phone subscriptions are additional to the platform plan. Annual platform and phone billing can be chosen independently; a monthly equivalent is not a monthly charge.

Usage and annual savings

#

Standard business inbound and meeting dial-in cost 2 cents/minute; standard business outbound and meeting dial-out cost 3 cents/minute. There are no included phone minutes or usage discounts.

Each call leg is billed per started minute, at the rate it started with. Meeting phone usage is counted per phone attendee: ten phone attendees connected for 60 minutes produce 600 participant-minutes. A phone attendee is charged once, at the meeting phone rate, which already includes their meeting audio; other browser participants follow the platform plan.

Time connected to phone menus or waiting to be let into a meeting counts. Alaska, Yukon and other higher-cost areas have no published rate yet, so calls to them are refused rather than charged the standard rate.

The proposed annual subscription saving is 10% for employee numbers and 10% for meeting access. The calculator shows the combined saving against monthly subscription billing. Usage remains the same price.

Shared phone balance

#

Credit comes in $25.00, $50.00, $100.00 purchases. Every dollar buys one USD of phone credit, with no volume discount. One workspace balance pays for both products' calls; Billing shows the usage of each product and call type separately. Number and meeting-access subscriptions are billed separately from credit.

Purchased credit rolls over from month to month. Subscriptions bought on the earlier minute-based terms keep their monthly minutes as an allowance that is used first and resets at the end of each month.

Billing shows what new calls can use, what calls in progress have reserved, payments still being confirmed, and anything owed. Credit is added only once the payment is confirmed. A credit purchase pays for usage; it is not a second charge on top of it.

Running out, warnings and automatic top-up

#

When the balance reaches zero, new calls can't start, and calls already connected continue within the workspace's phone limits. What they use after zero is owed, and is paid from the next credit before any of it can be spent. Emergency calls are never blocked by the balance.

Owners and admins are warned when the balance falls below the level the owner sets, and when it runs out, if the workspace's phone settings include warnings.

Automatic top-up is optional. The workspace owner chooses a threshold, a purchase amount and a monthly limit, agrees to the wording shown, and confirms a card. Only one top-up runs at a time, and payments still being confirmed count toward the monthly limit. A declined payment, or one the bank asks to confirm, adds no credit and pauses automatic top-up until the owner confirms the card again.

The calculator only estimates. It never charges a card, turns on phone service or changes your billing settings.

Not settled yet

#

Refunds of unused credit when you cancel or close your account, notice of rate changes, how long a released number is held, outstanding usage when a workspace closes, and telecom taxes are not settled yet. They will be in the terms when these products go on sale. Nothing on this page changes the current refund policy.
