Getting started

Create your account and workspace, invite your team and hold your first meeting in a few minutes.

From a new account to your first meeting.

Create your account

  1. Go to cheapmeet.com/signin. Enter your Email and choose Send sign-in link, or choose an available Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft or Continue with GitHub option.
  2. For email sign-in, open the email, follow its Sign in link and choose Continue to CheapMeet on the confirmation page. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes. Only continue if you requested it.
  3. If Set up your profile appears, enter your Full name and choose Continue. A first-time email sign-in creates your account without a password and verifies your email.

Create a workspace

After signing in for the first time you see Set up your workspace.

  1. Type a Workspace name, such as "Acme Studio". The Workspace URL below it fills in as you type, such as cheapmeet.com/acme-studio. If the address is taken, you are shown the one you will get instead.
  2. Leave Let anyone with an @yourcompany.com email join on if everyone at your company should be able to join without an invitation. It only appears for company email domains, not for Gmail or Outlook addresses.
  3. Choose Continue.

New workspaces start on the Free plan. You need a verified email to create a workspace, and each account and email address can create one workspace. You can still join as many other workspaces as you are invited to.

Join your company's workspace instead

If your company already uses CheapMeet and allows your email domain, Set up your workspace shows Join existing with the workspaces you can join. Choose Join on one.

If someone sent you an invite link, choose Looking for a different team? Enter an invite link, paste the whole link and choose Join. Opening the link directly works too.

Invite your team

#

The next step, Invite your team, has rows for email addresses (choose Add another for up to five) and, for owners and admins, the workspace invite link with Copy link. Choose Send invites, or Skip for now and invite people later from Workspace settings.

Hold your first meeting

The last step says You're set. Choose Start your first meeting to open a meeting right away, then share its link. Or choose Go to home to open Chat and look around first.
