App voicemail
#Starter and Business include app voicemail for every member, without a phone licence or telephone number. After a declined or unanswered CheapMeet call, the caller can choose to record a voice message of up to 60 seconds. Voice messages are in Calls → App voicemail.
Personal emergency calling addresses and forwarding are in Settings → Calling. Shared telephone numbers, routing and phone licences remain in Workspace settings → Phone, which owners and admins manage. Telephone calling is a separate phone service.
What a minute is
#One minute is one person in a call for one minute. Voice and video count the same. A 30-minute call with four people uses 120 minutes.
Each person's time in a call is rounded up to a whole minute, and guests' minutes count toward the workspace.
Per seat and shared limits
#On paid plans, monthly and daily minutes are counted per seat and pooled for the whole workspace: ten Starter seats give the workspace 8,000 minutes a month to share. On Free, the workspace shares 1,000 minutes a month.
Meeting size, guests per meeting and meeting length apply to each meeting. On Free, a meeting can run for 45 min.
At 80% and 100%
#At 80% of the monthly minutes, owners get a warning by email and the Usage tab shows it.
At 100% of the monthly or daily minutes, new calls cannot start until the limit resets or the plan changes. Calls already running end 5 minutes later, after a warning to their hosts, unless the plan is upgraded in time.
When a plan limit stops something (minutes, seats, calls at once, meeting size, guests or storage), owners and admins see Upgrade plan, which opens Billing. Members are asked to tell the owner.
See Usage and limits for the Usage tab and exact messages.
Other limits
#- Meeting length: 45 min on Free, 3 h on Starter, 8 h on Business. Everyone gets a warning five minutes before the end.
- People per meeting, guests included: 4 on Free, 25 on Starter, 50 on Business. When a meeting is full, the next person is told when a seat opens.
- Calls at once across the workspace: 1 on Free, 3 on Starter, 10 on Business. This includes direct calls.
- Alone in a call: a call with one person left ends after 5 minutes on Free, 10 on Starter and 15 on Business.
- Guests sharing their screen: on Starter and Business only.
All limits in one table are in the Limits reference.
Free plan capacity
#Free workspaces also share a monthly pool of free minutes across CheapMeet. On the rare occasion it runs out, free workspaces see "Free calling is full for this month" and can start calls again next month. Paid workspaces aren't affected.
